Oaths

Restless longing
Sighs and hoping
Dizzied memories of the future
Take me with you when you go.
I can't be left behind again...
(Can you see it, like I can?)
Sways of music
Quells of silence
All those touches worn so thin
Tethered belonging
Frantic and coping
Sharp clarity has past
I didn't hear you leave.
I'll be claimed again....
(and so will you)

I literally got chills. Could be thatt it's stormy and my house doesn't really have any heating of its own, but it happened while reading this! ;) Serious sensei wordplay, woman. I 'specially love the 2nd stanza... I can feel it swaying...
